What you say is possible, but don't forget that the 4 Lottery Teams (those not making this year's playoffs) pick position is based on their combined record of the last two years The Lynx would need and epic purposeful tank (like Phoenix did to get Griner) to get into the lottery, but could at least come in fairly low in the first round... did they trade away first or second round picks?

Holy crap. Not use to seeing the Lynx lose like this. Wow.

While the Lynx definitely look like they've lost a step, their schedule early this year has been very tough too.

6 of their first 9 games have been on the road, and they've played four games against the top 3 teams in the league (CT, LA, Phx). They have yet to play any games against Las Vegas, Indiana, or Chicago (all of the other teams in the bottom 4 with them).
