Mini-Plan tix?

Last year the "mini-plans" went on sale on October 16. I will demand has gone up and full season packages have been selling fast.
Last year UConn averages 12,671 per game, their 4th highest ever and highest since 2005. I expect the team will pass the 13,000 fans per game mark this year and could even come close to the 13,435 record from the 2004 team. Remember, Gampel only holds 10,299 so the 6 games at PBA (formerly XL Center) will need to sell out.

Unless you go to a reseller marketplace you can probably forget Gampel, although I haven't heard it's sold out (yet). If individual games are available in Hartford, they will most probably be in the double letter rows (not good, been there, done that). You may be able to get a good deal on good seats for less than competitive BE games, but for really good games you'll probably have to pay a reseller a premium, or if you're lucky, sit with the pigeons.

Last year there were seats available in Hartford for the upper end zones. Not the worst seats in the world, not the best either.

Thanks, all. I expected Gampel would be off limits, but we'll see what the no-longer-XL offers.

I experienced sitting in both ends last year (waited too long to buy) and while not the best viewing you still get the excitement of being there and the roar of the crowd. it's still pretty special memories with all of the crowd cheers - even high fives - around you. Can't get that watching your Samsung 30" on your Bob's Discount sofa or your LG 83" on your $10K Eames lounge chair. 😄

I think I've been in all the mediocre seats at Hartford. Interesting, years ago Mrs. Skeets liked the ones we had in the corner in the upper deck something like section 325?. Why did she like it? She had her own "private" bathroom, no waiting. Apparently, this is important to some genders. I have to admit the seats gave a very good view of fast breaks. Sort of watching all the wide receivers running down field. You really don't get that in mid-court seats.
