He can't get the basics right, he's constantly calling players by the wrong name and saying the wrong team has possession.

"And Cincinnati will go to the line. They're not in the bonus yet so it'll come out of bounds"

Mike has definitely lost his fastball. He was pretty good 10 years ago

At least we don't have to endure Bill Walton.

I'm going to defend Patrick here. Yes the little mistakes are there but his analysis of the game action was right on. He's a big Boat fan. We know who the players are. He's not yet to the decline of John Sterling who I actually like because of the sheer amusement. He and Elmore do a good job and frankly if we don't have them do we get another high profile anchor pair for our league games? No.

Who do you want doing our games?
I don't know. I'm asking what analysis specifically you thought was good. I sure didn't hear anything.

I'd rather have someone who can still do it rather than a semi-relevant name.

I like Mike Patrick and think he's one of the better announcers out there. The poor old man just doesn't know where he is at times...

He's growing on me. Kind of like how grandpa never knows any of the players' names. You just have to chuckle and let it go.

I liked how he recapped Omar's year, his injury and shooting improvement and what it meant in this game and for our future success. He has watched that progress as he does our games. He discussed DHam's problems as they relate to his inexperience. He talked for 2 1/2 hours, re watch the tape. I just watched Shulman and Vitale at the end of their game and there was a lot more fuff and platitudes than Patrick. These guys as announcers are paid to be informative, keep the game entertaining, and analyze player performances. Is he the best ever? No.

Walton is both painful and eerily entertaining. He often goes on tangents. You can almost hear the producers pleading in his ear.

I don't mind Mike Patrick but he did make me do a few double takes today. Len Elmore is always spot on and prepared. Hey, it could be worse.

not only does he sound like Verne L but he's starting to look like Verne and probably has the same flask as Verne in his pants pockets
