Ahem, it's Stephen F Austin -- don't make pull out a Steve Austin meme on you

Alas, the Ladyjacks are not the same powerhouse that choked away a lead against Georgia Tech in the NCAAT a couple years ago. My hopes aren't too high.

 I knew that... I'll blame it on autocorrect.

Drake just beat Nebraska 80-62, not sure how good Nebraska is supposed to be this year though

How are the Big Sky, Big South, and Big West conferences considered mid-major, but not the Big East?

Ah... the 10th high major conference is the American Athletic.. i forgot about them.

The Big East isn't a mid-major, they are a high major according to that site.

I had them ranked in the BY poll, and they might have been ranked in the AP or coaches poll. Most predicted them in the top 6 of the Big 10 along with Iowa, OSU, Michigan, Maryland, and Indiana.

They were ranked in the top 25 at the start of the season. Currently ranked 22 per the AP poll. Not sure what's going on as the expectation was they would continue to improve from how they did last season. Haven't seen their games yet. Will need to take a look as I'm perplexed as to what their issue is.

Yesterday 2 big upsets,

Marquette upset #3 Texas, 69-61
Gonzaga upset #6 Louisville. 79-67
