I'm not a gamer, but MS Flight Simulator was the one game that I enjoyed breaking out every few years. A week from today, FS2020 will be released and I was wondering if anyone else was as excited about this as I am? The last update was back in 2007 so it will be great to experience flight sim with today's technology.

Wow. Was a huge fan of the 2007 version but I never had the full set up (joystick or pedals) and it lagged my old computer. If this is on Xbox I may have to buy an Xbox and all the sticks / pedals to play this for real!

I'm going to be using a high-end PC, but I'm going all-in on HP's newest VR/WMR goggle, a flight yoke, pedals, etc..

The best flight sim was Spectrum Holobytes's Falcon, an F-16 simulator.

That was probably better than the analog flight trainers I went to school for.

I don't always simulate, but when I do, I enjoy it with a tasty beverage or few. Stay thirsty my friends!

Don’t mean to be that guy but here goes - will this be Mac compatible? That’s all I have at home. Not looking for a lecture - just a simple yes or no question.

No Mac version. Depending on your technical skills and desire - you can also install Windows on your machine through Boot Camp, and go from there. I’ll be giving this approach a go on my MacBook Pro to see if it’s playable or not and if I want to invest in a more “proper” setup.

My personal preference is “XPlane”. In my opinion it is more realistic to actually flying

Been playing Flight simulator since they rushed that Christmas release back in 95.,. i remember my dad got it for me and being super disappointed when mine (along with 1000's of other copies) didn't work.

I have a full set up now, had been using x-plane 11.. far more realistic than Flight Sim's predecessor.. super excited for the new one though. The graphics are incredible.
