Michigan State Post Game Thread

I didn't have anything to drink but water, stayed out of the chat for the most part, and had an enjoyable experience watching that game. I think I only talked to the TV once on a layup that spun out. When MSU went up 1 and we responded to retake the lead, I never worried again.

I am not a religious person, but I believe that's called "faith".

We all hated those close games all year in the Big East but it made this team battle tested and resilient. They bend but don’t break.

Lots of teams after giving up a 19 point lead would have folded. This team regrouped never panicked and leaned on their experiences from this year.

Just a gutsy, gutsy win...

Any of you who have ever criticized AK needs to hang your head. The dude just wins and has now hit 490203909 enormous shots. It's almost to the point where you expect him to hit a huge 3 late in the game.

Tarris was absolutely dominant at times.

Malachi now has 20 assists and 4 turnovers in this tourney, playing big minutes.

Solo played very well, and it was great to see him shoot the ball with confidence.

Uber excited for Sunday.

It never really felt like we were going to lose that game . This team has been in and won that kind of game all year.

Yeah obviously I was super stressed but once we got it back to that 3-4-5 range, it just seemed like one of the million games we've had like that all season that we managed to pull out.

We obviously will go as far ad Reed and Karaban. I wonder if we should of seen more Smith out there at the end as Demary just doens't look right and especially on offensivesid. He is very tenative and has to gather on all his shots more than normal. I'm glad Smith is playing his best ball of the year. Another 7 assists and 1 To game. The offense is just running better with him at the point. Who would of thunk that even a month ago?

Awesome, gutty win tonight. Fears is a blur, so was always going to be tough for Silas to stay with him. Between Slias' ankle and Foster's foot, it may be a situation where Silas can handle him. Duke is HUGE, so will need a big game from Reed and very good shooting. Mullins, Karaban, Ball, etc. have to show up, but Duke has not looked invincible in the Tournament so far. I will tell you what, if you UConn gets to the Final Four, I like their chances to be in the Championship game. Tall order right now against Duke, but let's go!

Malachi needs more time than Silas next game. Too much loyalty to starters when they arent playing well is going to bite us.

Great win for UConn. Michigan State is never easy to defeat.
Tarris and Alex carried them with solid contributions from others. I am proud of Solo for overcoming his struggles and playing well this game. Welcome back Jaylin.

All hands on deck for Sunday against Duke. UConn will be the underdog. Hopefully they play free from any pressure.

Both teams missed a lot of bunnies, something about those rims. When they canned a miracle three at the end of the shot clock, it felt like it was going to go sideways. The fellas just kept going and ground one out again.

Our FT shooting almost did us in, but Reed going 4-4 down the stretch and absolutely carving out the paint to get the intentionally missed FT was massive. Our seniors led this game.

Silas was tentative, short armed evwrything, refused to make bold passes. MS was very mediocre. We had no second ball handler with Solo and Braylon very shakey handling the rock. I don't know how we got by with that sort of production from our guards.

Solo had an important game for him and us. Not dominant by any means, but we need that to be his floor.

Why can't we just play dialed in all the time? No lead is safe with this team. We match up better with Duke than SJU so I like our chances on Sunday. Going to need to really make Boozer work with Reed.
I thought Malachi Smith was pretty solid.
