So, right before the end of the half, the FSU player is in the lane for 6 or even 7 seconds, then scores 2 and is fouled, thus making a free throw for 3 point play. WHAT A JOKE! MSU should be up by 8 points, not 5. Remember this play if the score is close at end of the game. Refs are blind idiots. Don't believe me?
Watch a replay of the game. It's glaring.

MSU up 35-30. It could be a lot worse for FSU. MSU is out hustling FSU and hit 8-18 three pointers:eek:. McCutcheon for MSU is fun to watch and Gaines is awesome.

Florida State trailed most of the game but has dominated the 4th quarter, now up 5 with a minute to play.

78-68 FSU final
Gillespie 24 pts, 12 reb, 2 ast

The free-throw discrepancy in this game is a little concerning

If you think that free throw discepancy is disturbing...how about Indiana shooting 22 more from the line than FSU's men?

Not sure what point you’re making because FSU shot 21 more in this game.... and I’m not here about the men’s game.

I didn't know this was a forum to discuss men's basketball.

When one talks about a worry about officiating...it transcends gender...the whistle don't care about gender..it just blows.

My belief...most concerns about free throw discrepany have to do with who you want to win.

I did not see officiating "concerns" when UConn had 19 free throws to Seton Hall's 4, as an example.

13 of the free-throws came with under 2 minutes left in game.

I had a big officiating "concern" in the UConn/SH game. Anyone that calls traveling on a player while they are dribbling out the clock, with 1.4 seconds left, is a big concern. I was glad to see the SH player just dribble out the clock instead of heaving the ball toward their basket. Showed what she thought of that call, IMO. :)

Yeah...interesting call...but a travel is a travel...and not calling becomes a slippery slope.

Yeah, it wasn’t a ‘maybe’ call - she inexplicably picked up the ball with 2 hands and started walking with it. I too was glad to see the SH player just dribble it out instead of embarrassing herself.
