They should be ahead by 25-28 points by now given their size advantage and MD’s inability to rotate the ball - especially considering Payne’s been out for most of the game, and Washington got tossed early in the 2nd half.

But yes, they’re good.

I watched the first half of the Maryland game. The Maryland guards were shooting lights out. I missed the second half but saw Maryland went up by as much as 12 before Michigan took control. Michigan perimeter defense could be a weakness. Maryland must have ran out of gas. Losing Payne was a big loss. He was playing great against their bigs. I think they are beatable.

Haven't watched Michigan yet, but Arizona, obviously, is a very good team. Obviously, with a healthy Reed and Mullins, I think we would've won in our first matchup. It wouldn't surprise me if there is an opportunity to test that theory at the end of the season.

They had a player ejected for essentially nothing, and another flagrant called for a garden variety rebounding foul.

Michigan also shot lights out in the second half. Yaxel is a cheat code against college players. Best player in the country by a comfortable margin.

Don't sleep on Duke either. I'd say very likely the champion with be Arizona, Michigan, Duke or us. Quite a drop off after that. Purdue is a fraud.
 
Gonna be a tough team to beat when we match up in the Final 4. It'll take a lights out performance shooting the rock.

They are the best team I have seen since Uconn in their last title run. They are better than any team last year in my opinion. They have two 6-9 forwards that can play pressure on ball defense on the perimeter and not get beat by guard, and if they do get beat they have 7-3 shot blocker. Their guards are good defenders and consistently hit their open 3s. They are better than UConn was at the start of 23-24, but UConn took to to another level in ncaa tournament that year.

It will be interesting to watch Michigan at Duke im Feb. We'll know alot more then.

The crazy thing is we probably won’t see them really tested for a while. The top half of their conference schedule is pretty soft all things considered. From 1/27 to 3/8 they’ll have to play Nebraska, MSU x2, UCLA, Purdue, Illinois, and Duke. It’s conference play so I’m assuming some of the lesser teams will give them a run but they have a wildly backloaded schedule.
