Booo!!! Well now I am not going. I figured to hear Hail to the Victors at least 7 times.

There are 350 of them +/ To charter them and equipment in runs north of $400k.

I would guess that they have some sort of pep band at the game. Maybe 25 to 40 kids. They won't march but they will definitely play Hail to the Victors. Great fight song but very tiring when it is being played at your expense.
 
Reading the crap Michigan is saying about this game/ stadium is making me hate them more than Coach P... Yes, our fans suck, but they are going to have 30k? Get real... And it will sound like Mich home game? Get real again. The good fans we do have make some noise.

30,000 fans AND the band? Even for Warde's alma mater that's asking a lot!

If you don't expect there to be between 7500-10000 Michigan fans, then you are being unrealistic and underestimating the UM faithful.
 
Michigan wasn't even planning on sending their band to Dallas for their Alabama game last year because it "cost too much". They only did it when there was a huge uproar.

My son who went to UM will be there. I am used to Hail to the Victors. This is one game where I would not have enjoyed it. They have a great band, but so does UConn. You know we've hit the big time when people all over the country know our fight song.

I can vouch for this. It was fun watching the UM band when they took the field before the game, the drum major was awesome. But the UCMB kicked their ass in the halftime show category. It wasn't even close.

Pretty sure they do, at least the basketball fans.

That particular program was the best halftime show that they've ever done. It also clearly topped the OU band at the Fiesta Bowl.
