Stanford is a smart, tough, and proud bunch. They will learn from it. I was a little surprised at their #1 ranking, due to their youth and question marks. But I gave Kokenis, Orrange, Greenfield, et al. the benefit of the doubt. They are not Pedersen, Pohlen, and Hones, at least not yet.
I remember the game when Ivory Latta and UNC embarrassed us at home. The clear lesson was that we needed to get more athletic. Kalana Greene looked like our only player who could match up. Well, Geno added players like Tina, Maya, Tiffany, and Bria. I look for Stanford to learn from this, both this season and longer term.
