Definitely a talented kid, but when your face looks abnormal to begin with (is that a snout?) you shouldn't go out of your way to sneer at the refs and opponents all game longHe's a . I had a lot of fun chanting "Miiiii-cheal Miiiiii-cheal" at him. With the occasional "Babbby teeeth" thrown in.
Why the NBA discussion? His jersey says Syracuse NY not NY Knicks? Why can't we stick to college performance measurements? In a way, to down him as an NBA player without playing a game, or even drafted, is another form of complement. Its as if fans are already envisioning him in the NBA. I believe its okay to compliment an opposing playing without giving up our UConn alliance. I think Ollie and Uconn players would feel differently about his skills than some of our fans.
Like I said, he is projected as a top 10 pick in the NBA. I'm not just a Uconn fan, but a fan of college basketball in general. I've seen players like Mclemore, Otto Porter, Shabazz Muhammad, James McAdoo , etc play and they all stick out as more talented than the other players on the floor. Michael Carter Williams is being mentioned along with those types of players as a top 10 pick and I was just asking what it is about his game that would make him a lottery pick. I understand he is tall, can get to the hoop and can obviously pass as he's leading the NCAA in assists. It's just that usually when I watch players that are projected in the lottery something about them sticks out to me and I didn't feel that way with MCW.
