I happen to think he could be a very solid NBA player, he has a ton of potential. He's also kind of a on the court.

I do question whether he will be able to defend anyone. He had issues staying in front of Napier and Boatright, when playing a freaking zone. Imagine how tough it's going to be when he's defending Chris Paul, Ty Lawson and Kemba Walker man-to-man.

Definitely a talented kid, but when your face looks abnormal to begin with (is that a snout?) you shouldn't go out of your way to sneer at the refs and opponents all game long

Why the NBA discussion? His jersey says Syracuse NY not NY Knicks? Why can't we stick to college performance measurements? In a way, to down him as an NBA player without playing a game, or even drafted, is another form of complement. Its as if fans are already envisioning him in the NBA. I believe its okay to compliment an opposing playing without giving up our UConn alliance. I think Ollie and Uconn players would feel differently about his skills than some of our fans.

Like I said, he is projected as a top 10 pick in the NBA. I'm not just a Uconn fan, but a fan of college basketball in general. I've seen players like Mclemore, Otto Porter, Shabazz Muhammad, James McAdoo , etc play and they all stick out as more talented than the other players on the floor. Michael Carter Williams is being mentioned along with those types of players as a top 10 pick and I was just asking what it is about his game that would make him a lottery pick? I understand he is tall, can get to the hoop and can obviously pass as he's leading the NCAA in assists. It's just that usually when I watch players that are projected in the lottery something about them sticks out to me and I didn't feel that way with MCW.

I hear you but if he can develop and get bigger and of course better he can have a bright future. Our guards are special and small which can aggravate any tall guard. To me Bazz is better that MCW.

I guess I just disagree with the majority about his NBA future. Experts projecting him drafted in the top 10 must be doing it based on potential. But collegiality he can do some damage, I'm not sure how that translate into the pros, I'm just saying many other people (i.e. posters) don't know either.
