I know the ACC stinks but 10-0 in conference is pretty damn good, they are destroying Carolina, Larranaga knows how to coach.

Every year there is a surprise team in the ACC. Then they slide back into obscurity after losing in the Sweet 16.

2012-2013: Miami
2010-2012: Florida State
2009-2010: Maryland
2008-2009: Wake Forest

It goes on and on. Nobody is really good in the ACC except for UNC and Duke. Expect Miami to get knocked out before the Elite 8.

This Miami team is way better than all those other teams you named, CTBasketball.

In fact, they're better than Duke (at least without Kelly...by a lot). It's absurd that their ranked below a Duke team they destroyed.

No need to remind us Jim L. can coach. Many of us were present at the Verizon Center in 06--George Mason:(.

Smart, too. Wanted no part of the PC job.

None of those teams were anywhere close to as good as this Miami team.

Wake and Maryland were real average, they were 4 or 5 seeds and the 2011 FSU team lost 10 games and was a 10 seed, not sure why they are even listed.

Historically, yes the conference is dominated by unc and duke, but unc is awful this year despite roy's 5 mcdys. People bang on self but he is a 10 times better coach then Roy.

Miami has a very experienced team, which is a rarity these days. They will certainly slide back next year, but this year they seem to have everything a final four team would need. Kadji in particular seems like a tough player to match up with. It's also pretty refreshing to see a good coach at work down here after watching Haith and Perry Clark stumble around.

I've seen a few Miami games this season and they look good. That game against Duke was a major eye opener for me.

They do look good. How did they lose to Indiana State or Florida Gulf Coast?

I watch the game today and they were great. 5 players had at least 2 3 pointers. They were like 16 for 26. UNC defense was very poor. All Miami's 3 point shots were wide open, step into the shot 3 pointers. The game looked like men against boys.

I remember actually feeling bad for the Mason fans before the game...ugh
