Syracuse is fresh off an upset loss at Georgia Tech. They really live and die of their ability to force turnovers and hit 3s. They've turned Miami over 9 times in the first half, but they've got 8 giveaway of their own and, more importantly, they're only 2-16 from 3.

Yeah, Miami looks good here. They look like a very dangerous team when they're on, but they've also looked very flat in losing to teams like Central Michigan and Purdue.

Syracuse was whittling away at the lead but Miami drilled a 3 at the end of Q3 to go back up 8 again.

They aren't as international as USF but Miami has a decent collection of Euros. At least 3.

I didn't realize how much international flavor Syracuse has. 7 players from 5 different countries. They also have a player from Mazama, Washington. I had no idea. I've been there a few times. Cool little general store w/ all kinds of yummy food and knick knacks.

Iowa up 6 w/ under 6 minutes to go. Gustafson w/ 30 and 9. I'm a big fan of consistency, I keep echoing that all the time. I don't think she'll get much post season recognition but she's been as good as anybody IMO.

I think she'd be a 1st Team All-American if the season ended today. Might not get NPOY, lots of quality competition for that.

Yeah she should definitely be making All American teams. I was thinking of the individual awards like Lieberman, etc. There is some quality competition. I just get the feeling she will get overlooked and isn't really in the running for that type of hardware.

She's as much in the running as anyone in the country at this point. Her numbers are way too good to be overlooked.

How pathetic is it that Syracuse women's basketball play in front of home crowd of about 300. The official attendance is listed at 1332 but no way in hell there was that many people there.
