It's funny, getting to the final four was mostly offense dictating who won the game (not just UConn). In the final four the better defensive team won both games.

He did a ton of damage in the midrange and off of the offensive glass, not to mention the defensive end. A lot of big contributions even though the outside shot wasn't there.

Coach ran a psyop on the refs all week softening them up, in interview after interview saying how awful he'd been to them earlier in the year.

And what a difference that makes with the aggressiveness that you are afforded to play with on defense. That was on display most of the game, especially in the second half. Players were able to body up and swarm more knowing that no free throws would be given to Miami on a ticky tack foul.
