Syracuse and IBID on my comments from the BC-ND thread at 11:50 AM

The Cuse is rolling in this one 40-23.

Wow, Syracuse scored 32 in Q1. Cooled off in Q2 but still up 47-32 just before halftime.

edit--50-32 at the break

Syracuse lives by the THREE and dies by the THREE. The long range shots must be falling for them today.

79-50 w/ a bit more than 6 minutes left.

Apparently so. 13-25, that will win you a lot of games. Cardoso does have 15, none from outside the arc. Tiana w/ a double-double 10 pts/10 assists.

Cardoso has been impressive. I have to give @bballnut90 some props here and rethink Brink vs. Cardoso for 1st team all freshman...

As noted, Cardoso could be a handful for Elissa but then again, Syracuse still has Q as the coach, I wouldn't worry if I were you...

I like Brink, but she's gotta try to figure out how to not pick up so many fouls (even though I think at least half of them are complete BS and the refs seem to have it in for her). She had almost no impact in the last game for the Card.

Did you see her efficiency rating? Pretty impressive for 15 min a game...Granted she doesn't have to do as much as Cardoso for that team to be effective but still...

Priscilla Williams w/ 23 for the Orange. I gotta admit, I'm not familiar w/ her.

94-57 down the stretch.

I didn't see ratings, but my eyeballs tell me she makes things happen when she's on the floor (w/ the exception of the Utah game). That's why the fouling is an issue, it prevents her from being in the game.

That is very surprising. Not that Syracuse would win, but coming off a long break due to COVID and Miami playing better of late, I thought this would be a lot closer.

Make that 26 for Williams. One missed FT away from a perfect game. 9-9 from the floor, 6-6 behind the arc, 2-3 from the charity stripe. That's fairly efficient.

Cardoso and Engstler just short in the rebound department from double-doubles. 99-64, that's a beat down.
