I met him at this tourney I’m at with my nephew. He was a pretty cool guy. We talked for about 30 minutes. I wanted to pick his brain about what it takes for kids to get from the high school level to high level college ball. I’m not a big fan of AAU, and neither is he. He stressed to me the importance of the kids putting in work by themselves. He was very vocal and open to talk with me. He has a 7th grader, and my nephew is a 8th grader. I told him I was a UConn fan and he just started laughing. He said, “Man yep Rip and them got us.” It was pretty dope.

He laughed about it actually. He said he couldn’t actually believe they did it so quick. He just said he really didn’t know what happened that made them pull the trigger so quick. He said they wasn’t good, but he didn’t have time to even try to out his print in the program.
Where did he get fired from?
He was head coach at Austin Peay.
