Named to the Walter Camp Football Foundation All-Connecticut team... First Team New Haven Register All-Star...named to the All-Hartford Courantteam...caught 12 TD passes in senior year, including four in the postseason, as team posted a 10-1 record...team advanced to Class L semifinals...had 29 receptions for 741 yards as a senior in the regular season...as a junior, had 28 receptions for 700 yards and 11 TDs as team won Class L-Small state championship...in that title game, had two TDs receptions and an 89-yard fumble return for a TD...outstanding track performer has cleared 6 feet, 10 inches...won Class L high jump championship in spring 2015..was part of New England champion 4x100 relay team..also played basketball.

Rushed for 1,406 yards as a senior on 255 carries with 15 TDs...had 2,841 career rushing yards in high school with 26 TDs.

Quayvon Skanes, 5-10, 175, WR, Chicago, Ill./Wendall Phillips Academy
Named to the 2015 Chicago Tribune All-State team...team won Illinois Class 4A championship as a senior becoming the first Public League team to win a state championship...was named the Chicago Tribune/WGN Athlete of the Month for November 2015...played quarterbacks his senior year...rushed for 141 yards in state title game with four touchdowns...also passed for 44 yards and a TD..rushed for 1,458 yards in senior years with 36 touchdowns...also had 504 passing yards for 13 TDs...caught 41 passes as a junior for 981 yards and 12 touchdowns...team was 12-2 in junior year and advanced to 4A title game...also on track and field team.

Agreed and we might consider doing whatever it takes to keep them sooner rather than later.

How many scholarsip athletes do we currently have and are we under the limit at this time?
 
I don't have an exact count (I stopped being careful with my records the last 2 years of PGDL) but if we're short of 85 it's not by more than 2 or 3.

If you have extra schollies, they won't go to incoming frosh pwo -- they'll go first to the upperclassmen who've earned them. Guys brought in as walk ons like Wain and Vitale and Marinan.

As my former High School Head Coach, I can tell you Tim King is about 5'6, 210 lbs. lol
