I know that this is a UCONN board. Trust me I am a big UCONN fan but DT3 plays dirty. I can't make apologies for it. As good as she is she doesn't have to pull the stunts that she does.

Maybe that’s where that passion to practice hard and play hard comes from. Or maybe it had something to do with Mario Taurasi, a former professional soccer goalkeeper who was born in Italy and raised in Argentina.

“I get my grind and my work (ethic) from him,” she said. “He came over here as an immigrant 35 years ago. To this day I owe him a lot.”

Which is one more reason why it was perfect that Taurasi reached the top of the scoring list in Los Angeles, on Father’s Day.
