A lot of times they already know who they want but I think they're required to post the job and interview other people. I think that is the case here.

I'm kind of glad he wasn't retained... It would be nice if we could get Eric Klein to do basketball, too, but it's probably too much. A lot of the football players have made huge strides under him.
At this point I would take any gym rat that lives by the weight rack and knows s good diet and supplement plan. Seriously.

This position has already been filled.

Usually, they find the right guy for the role and agree to a verbal contract.

The job posting is just logistics - technically, has to be a public job opening that anyone can apply to by law.

It’s the reason the application process closes in a week. If they were really looking at an open application process, would not end in a week. This just fulfills the lawful requirement

There is no way this is true.

That was a joke based on his press conference day comments - but I can assure you he wants a change.

It’s interesting Ed posted how important it is for your best player to lead by example. He has a point.
