Think about being Houston fan. For a moment last year you thought you were going to the big 12. Then you were told you wer not big 12 worthy. Then your coach gets ripped from you to your arch rival within the state. And now look at you. That's all.

Yeah it’s really hard to wrap my head around disappointment in conference
realignment.

I didn’t know Tom Hermann went to Rice.

I wouldn't waste my time watching this game when there's an NFL game on.

Whenever Memphis plays Houston, its best to forgo the NFL game.

Trust me on that. Geeeez.. what an ending

Funny thing about Memphis being relevant right now is our own fans acting like we have no hope to ever win again. Freaking Memphis. Do they even have any national championships?

Edit: The Memphis Tigers Pom Squad is recognized as one of the best collegiate dance squads in the country, having won national championships in 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 2000, 2007, 2008, 2011, and 2012.

When Cinci and Memphis were in CUSA (before that was a four letter word) their dance teams were a better rivalry than the basketball teams.

Memphis is clearly holding down the fort in pom pom stuff. Blue blood. Their success actually spans three conferences, going back to the Metro Conference.

We really started talking about pom pom competition's, really..

Memphis can score but they can't tackle.
UCF is the class of the conference but I have a feeling they will lose at some point just to screw things up

UCF-USF will have literally dozens of football fans in Florida on the edge of their seat!

I bet Memphis second half -0.5...

I had Memphis on the moneyline before the game started and turned it off in the third quarter out of disgust. Nice to be on the right side of luck for once!

I think you would be surprised. UCF has over taken Arizona State for tops in undergraduate enrollment. 60+ thousand. USF isn't far behind.

If those schools are both undefeated going into that game its going to get a lot of attention.

Really though, Memphis is the program that gives me hope. They were awful for a long time. Now they are a consistent top 30 program. If they stay there with this coach it will be terrific for the league.

Getting punked by Casey Cochran and Geremy Davis really woke them up. :DIf their basketball gets back on track that’d be huge for the league. Might be a couple years off on that though.
