Until NCAA throws the book at them with some real bite to the punishment this is just mildly interesting….

And he gets rewarded with a lifetime contract!
I hate Self and Kansas. COVID came along and now there seems to be no mention of the FBI scandal anymore: Most of the schools linked to that were high seeds in this tournament. Kansas and Arizona were 1 seeds, Auburn was a two. Hoping Kansas gets smacked today and that Miami players dance on his hairpiece at half court:

Throws the book at who? The midmajor bubble team, or the blue bloods that seem to get an endless stream of McD AA's who are driving Benz's and BMW's without so much as a whiff of an investigation?

Same. They are probably the dirtiest program in NCAA basketball, and that’s saying a lot. I give Louisville the nod for having the scummiest stuff but Kansas wins overall based on full body of work.
No school played a bigger role in the formation of the NCAA in the first place than Kansas. That's why the headquarters were where they were. They ARE the NCAA, in a sense. They get to play by any rules they wish - the rulebook is for the schools who don't have the resources to fight back.

North Carolina admitted to academic fraud. Nothing from the NCAA

I don't care nor respect anything clueless, lying, P0S bureaucrats think
It was academic scandal not a basketball one. World of difference. And absolutely no college or university is ever giving the NCAA power over their classes or their academic requirements. UNC won‘t. Harvard won’t. UConn won’t. St. Peter’s won’t. Central Connecticut won’t. UNC robbed a bank. You want to enforce the zoning code against them.

We get it; doesn't mean we have to like it.

Just stop, pure poppycock, you sound like a bureaucrat now

They obviously misrepresented their APR scores, and the school did so intentionally

Let me guess, nobody in the athletic department had any idea, especially the players.

North Carolina, Kansas, Duke, and all the P5s - when are they going to pay
Why was Zona allowed to play in the dance this year?
NCAA is a joke - punish who they want to make it look good
We all know that Penny is nor above board but come on, is he the only one?
Will LSU face the death penalty?

Penny should join the pros - the guy knows the game but he can't seem to recruit without stepping over the line. Most every coach sticks their toe over the line but Penny jumps over at times.
Instead, Arizona is gonna get punished 3 years later when no one, not the coaches or players, are still on the team.

Tell that to Notre Dame.

In other news, Kansas/Self are still allowed to cheat like crazy!
They're currently in the IARP process. I don't see things going Kansas' way when all is said and done.

Yet they’re still two wins away from a national championship, lovely.

Penny is rich and doesn't need to coach. I predict he walks and leaves Memphis to clean up his mess.

If you accept that principal then you have to accept that the APR and graduation rates are also bullcrap since they’re matters of academics as well. UNC talked out of both sides of their face on this issue. They told the NCAA it was a matter of academics, but they told their accreditation agency that it was a matter of athletics. It was bull crap and the NCAA should’ve pressed them on it.

"Probation," "loss of one scholarship for a year," something like that. It'll be a slap on the wrist if anything.

I’m still trying to figure out how Zion’s parents were able to afford a $950k house in North Carolina after signing with Duke, when they could only afford a $900/month rental in South Carolina before signing with Duke.

F Coach K and the NCAA. And Laettner…
