Florida Gulf Coast sank 22 shots from 3-point range Saturday to break its own single-game Division I women's record in a 97-60 victory over East Tennessee State.

Mel is the Director of Basketball Operations for FGCU. The team is 12-5 overall, 5-0 in the Atlantic Sun Conference. FGCU is currently in its 6th year as a Division I team.

Sagarin has FGCU rated at 73 of 300+ teams. In comparison, Marquette is ranked 79 and Texas 73. It looks like somebody is serious about basketball down there.
