Maryland is only 20 minutes from her home but she said she doesn't want college to be too close or too far. Also said she wants a big campus. The bigger the better. I think UCONN fits the bill for not to far, not too close (i think it's about a 7 hour drive), but Penn State, UVA, Duke, UNC are all about the same distance give or take. Comparing campuses I'm not sure UCONN can compete as well on that front...
