Honestly, after Sorber and McNeeley it was pretty slim pickings. Sorber missed a lot of time also. A good argument could be made that the 2 of them should have split the award.

We should own this award in the forseeable future. Cooley may be able to talk a top recruit in every once in awhile, but I really don't see another BE program attracting blue chippers and Pitino has gone on record of not even wanting HS recruits.
