LOL - there was zero defense in this game. That'll change when these young women get to their respective schools.
It was as expected "offensive" entertainment. I kept thinking to myself let them enjoy the limelight because that will change soon for most if not all of them. College ball is just another level that they won't understand until the first week of practice. Some will play a lot as freshmen because they are going to "ok" teams. I only saw 1 that looked 'all around' ready for college and that was Williams going to LSU. KK Arnold will break down a lot of defenses with that dribble penetration and speed. Shade has really good vision and her passing ability is way better than I thought.LOL - there was zero defense in this game. That'll change when these young women get to their respective schools.
In an All Star game, they are not.Do the kids know they're allowed to pass?
Always felt that Amanda Muse was overshadowed by Cunningham in SoCal, from the high school scene to AAU teams.Next year when Muse joins up with Kiki Rice, and the two combine with the 6'4" German post Bessoir and Rice's fellow freshman Jaquez, UCLA will be incredibly tough.
Arnold and Shade did pretty well. Nothing really outstanding but held their own.
Watkins is gonna be very good. Will probably forget about her out in LA but, she'll be good.
LSU is gonna be good again next year. With Reese coming back, and adding Williams and Del Rosario. Maybe Mulkey won't have to play as many cupcakes?
ND is getting a good one too with Hildago. Quick, decent shot, nice passing. They should be on the rise next year.
Wish we had gone in for Muse. She was impressive. Ran the floor well, understood the pick and roll. Had nice footwork around the basket. And at 6-4.
There was some decent talent in this class. They will be a good addition to the WBB landscape next season.
Said announcer was Brooke Weisbrod. She is a known UCONN hater and the best friend of head UCONN hater, ND alum, Deveraux Peters. Brooke is so bad at announcing that I hope she gets promoted to FloSports.Wow! Ashlyn Shade performed really well, but got far less credit from the announcers than the LSU and South Carolina recruits. Shade had the second most rebounds on her squad after Del Rosario. That's impressive.

No I watched in full and she ended almost as many possessions she scored on. Most of her points were at the line, I think she only got like 3-4 actual field goals. Watching that game made me wonder if she was only the top recruit because of the school she went to versus her actual ability - even clips I've seen on Youtube aren't that impressive to me to be honest.I have to rewatch the game. Juju Watkins was good, but she didn't blow me out of the water. I know she put up points, but it seems she got a lot of minutes and wasn't all that efficient. I also watched the game in like 10 parts (lol) so maybe I shouldn't do that to get the full effect. In the end..it was one game (exhibition).

Watch the game from 1:12:30 to 1:15:41 and you will hear that Ashlynn Shade received some great praise from Brooke Weisbrod.Said announcer was Brooke Weisbrod. Looking at box scores only does not tell you anything. Watching the game tells you everything. I watched the game. Hildago was impressive, as was JuJu and the Williams going to LSU. Muse, the post player going to UCLA was a gem, as were many other players tbh. And Fulwiley? It was an All Star game, and she was electric for stretches, wait for that one to develop. Shade looked good also, reminded me of a cross between Abby Meyers and Grace Berger tbh, not too shabby.Looking at the Box Score, Fulwiley was not that impressive, shooting 7 for 18, taking the most shots by far. Hildago was high scorer with 26, but had 7 turnovers. Ouch. Several other stats pop out in the Box Score. Not sure why Shade was a minus 17.
I beived it means FOULS DRAWN. IOW you caused someone else to foul you.I was wondering what "FD" was.
So Hildago's 7 turnovers doesn't bother you? Although I did notice 8 steals, so that's impressive.Looking at box scores only does not tell you anything. Watching the game tells you everything. I’d like to know what she did to deserve a technical foul. The best thing I heard during the game is that KK Arnold got a technical in the scrimmage. lol Now that is competitive!

She'll fit right in at ND lolSo Hildago's 7 turnovers doesn't bother you? Although I did notice 8 steals, so that's impressive.
The coachs were supposed to play their players an even amount of minutes. They were not very successful.
Sooo, she ended up ahead. So Hildago's 7 turnovers doesn't bother you? Although I did notice 8 steals, so that's impressive.

Fulwiley's HS is very close to where I live in Columbia. I think Dawn offered her in 7th grade. Her and Raven on the court, together, would be a very fast lineup.Muse going to UCLA
Donovan going to Duke
Watkins going to USC
Williams going to LSU
Two notre dame girls and the South Carolina
All stood out the most they seem like can’t miss players that we will definitely hear from in the future. Fuilwily is putting on a show though
