McD AA Rosters are out

You are definitely right, but it’s hard to fault the kids and their families. Try putting yourself in those shoes and think about what you would do.
What I would do is stay 2 or 3 years and make sure I was physically and mentally mature before going on to compete against grown-ass men. I would avoid the Liam McNeeley mistake.

The toothpaste isnt going back in the tube. I like wearing MC Hammer pants but that was nearly 40 years ago and theyre not coming back. 🤣
Says who? Take back control of institutional "extra curricular activites". These are our rules and you can play or not play. We decide how this sport will be played. You don't. Just a matter of will.

And magically going forward people are going to stop suing them for doing this?

Now take a look at this draft class and tell me where Liam McNeeley would have been drafted. Spoiler, it's later than where he was taken last year

also noteworthy is mcdonalds is a fast food ultra processed and engineered food place - their selections for AA this year echo that.

We are not a burger boy destination. We have by far fewer McDonald's All Americans than any school with two or more titles

I like it that way, shows how good our coaches are
I like it as long as we keep winning. In 24 we had Castle. Last year we had McNeeley. This year we have Mullins and Reibe. We had Adams too until he left to make room for Smith. So I would prefer a mix of premium talent and experienced transfers or inhouse developed talent.

Find a way to change it back. All schools. This is collegiate athletics, time for colleges to reinstitute control of it's school operated "extra-curricular" activity.
You can't control what "student athletes" want to do. I suspect we are moving toward a pro model with contracts and signing bonuses and punitive buyouts to discourage leaving early. But the best players will be able to negotiate favorable contracts just like the pros. Some schools with limited budgets will try to win with experience over talent. Schools like Duke are still trying to win with the best freshmen in the country but Hurley has shown that a mixture of talent and experience is more effective.

Get to pair him with a 6'7" shooting guard ranked around 20, Massimo Adams. Big back court. Good for UNC. Of all the BB's, they're the one I least detest. Kansas next. Duke & UK losing bring smiles to me.
I grew up a UNC fan before I attended UConn. Lived in Chapel Hill for a while while my mother attended nursing school. But I lost a lot of respect for that program when Jerry Stackhouse broke the "paper classes" scandal.

So play into your junior year or, senior year.

Suing them (the institutions of higher learning) for what: establishing/modifying rules and standards for their extracurricular activities and programs? Show some balls.

"Maximo" and I would definitely not call him a shooting guard. Talented kid but definitely not a guard.

The reverse could work for Mullins given the strength of this draft class and the purported weakness of next year's. Would he stay for another year of 7-figure NIL for the opportunity to be drafted top 5? He'd be 21 by the 2027 draft so that probably figures into it.

They're suing them for anti-trust violations. Maybe join real life every once in a while.
