"The former Louisville star spent four years trying to beat Big East rival Connecticut. She went 0-for-8. At the Olympics she'll play with six former Huskies under the direction of the school's head coach, Geno Auriemma."

Angel has obviously put in so much work to become the player that she is. She has one of the most aggressive offensive mindsets I've ever seen. She wants the ball at the big moment.

I see where Angel played 37 minutes on Sunday. I guess her MCL strain is
a thing of the past.

Nice to see her personality. She's a great player and hopefully she'll do great things for Team USA this summer.

I think Geno and her USA teammates will be a good influence on her. She should do very well in a situation where not everything falls on her shoulders.

Oh I'm not worried about that. She should do well. But I do think it will be interesting to see how she is incorporated into Geno's system.

I thought she played extremely well for the U.S. in the 2010 World Championships. She was a big spark off the bench for that team and she'll be nothing less for this year's Olympic squad. She really hasn't been in many situations where she isn't the absolute focal point of the offense, but I'm sure she can adjust just fine.

I think this will be a welcome change for her. Geno will want her and her teammates to play to their (considerable) strengths.

When you have Sue, Lindsay, and Diana getting you the ball in good spots, Tina, Candace, and Sylvia backing you up on defense and getting rebounds for you, and Catch, Maya, and Swin running with you, life is really good.
