I know there will be at least one thread about today's game, which was awesome. But this one is about the future--maybe it's not as bleak as some BY naysayers believe. Williams was great, fearless and poised; Walker played really well, and shot well, too; and Olivia looked promising as well. So that should be a great core three going forward. Add CD (who played okay today, but not great) and Griffin next year, who I think will be much better than her current ranking shows, and UCONN should remain formidable. And if we can get ANYTHING from Coombs or Gordan, that's a nice bonus.
So I say "stay positive"... enjoy this great year, and be optimistic of the next few years, too.

I think the concern is less about this year and more about next year and beyond. Trading out Nurse and Williams (Gabby) for Williams (Christyn) and ONO is your standard re-loading.

Trading out Samuelson and Collier for...{crickets}... is where things get perilous.
