Terry Larrier appears to have turned the corner. He wasn't tentative, he played with more explosiveness and confidence.

Closely followed by the fact that we out-rebounded AZ and played well in the paint, maybe our best game down low.

Now beat Auburn, then shock the Shockers with a very large crowd bringing them home

Agreed, and the game was more enjoyable to watch, with or without the sound on.

Their energy levels were better, at least until the last few minutes.

AZ wasn't going after offensive rebounds at all. A huge gaff on the part of Miller. I suppose he preferred to get back on D and force us into a half court game.

Much better defense. I was happy about that.

They are still totally lost on offense. Though they had a couple bright moments when the ball was being whipped around.

So how do you explain OUR 10 offensive rebounds? Arizona wasnt going after defensive rebounds either?

Not going after ANY rebounds was a bold move by Miller...

Yeah he did some nice things on offense. He also lost the ball off the dribble still, really love to see him tighten that part of his game up it would be so important to his success getting to the rim. He seems to really play the baseline well and shoot that short jumper or even that one hander he showed a couple times last night. But the 3 rebounds aren't enough, he needs to stick that nose in more in the rebounding effort. But did like his game overall and he worked harder on D too.

For once, our defenders' arms were up in the lane. And it created deflections! Terry was a big part of that. Guy has such long arms, he can be a disrupter.

I thought Ollie coached well last night. He had a game plan that slowed Zona’s offense down, kept Ayton in check, and got us open shots.

The constant traveling and Jalen missing everything was too much to overcome, but if Vital gets that foul call down 1, we could still be dancing to a different beat.

UConn really needs the bigs to stop turning the ball over too. Cobb and Onuorah both turn the ball over on over 44% of their used possessions. That’s astonishingly bad. Diarra has the lowest TO% out of the bigs. They need to pass better and not force anything just because they receive an entry pass.
