She finished the week second in the Western Conference in scoring (21.3 ppg), second in rebounds (11.0 rpg), first in steals (3.3 spg), tied for sixth in assists (4.0 apg) and sixth in field goal percentage (.489). This season, Moore ranks 13th in the WNBA in scoring (16.1 ppg), 14th in rebounding (6.3 rpg), 8th in free throw percentage (87.2%), 11th in steals (1.57 spg) and 18th in field goal percentage (46.1%). Moore also ranks first among forwards with 3.6 assists per game.

This is the aspect of Maya's game that I think consistently gets underrated. Maya is a spectacular passer, and a better passer than even her assist totals indicate. She makes passes that may not be an assist, but lead to layups. It may be the pass that triggers a fast break or it may be the perfect post entry pass. Maya is Larry Bird in Dr. J's body.
