Great Read. WNBA. ESPN and especially the Individual Teams need to do more to market the Game.
Maya is right, many All American Players especially UConn All Americans are almost household names coming out of College after 4 years of playing, then they drop off the map and rarely heard from again in daily sports media. The WNBA Draft is a disaster and does little to highlight the players accomplishments in college and what they will provide to the teams that draft them. The production content of the WNBA draft needs to change and upgraded. The draft besides highlighting the accomplishments of the players being drafted should also be the start of the marketing for the upcoming WNBA Season.
