This was noted yesterday, but buried in another thread. I thought it deserved its own thread.

As per Jeff Jacobs the full quote was this....

"When Maya walked out on the court it was like Muhammad Ali walking into a ring," Auriemma said. "You can't ignore it. It's staring at you in the face."

That was pretty cool to hear Geno mention that. Maya's strength and presence were literally huge on the court. Physically, she ate up more space on the court than almost any 6-footer you care to name, and in the opponents' minds she was like the 800-pound gorilla....!

In 2010, opponents would look at our lineup and see Maya Moore and Tina Charles, two of the strongest, fastest, best-conditioned athletes ever to play WCBB. Awe-inspiring and intimidating at the same time.
