The colleges won't go for the protocol that allows a player to go back to action if they have two negative tests in a five day period. That would be giving up control and risking lawsuits.

What's the scientific basis for not allowing someone back to play who:
- Tested positive on Sunday, is asymptomatic
- Immediately isolated
- Tested negative on Thursday and Friday, never developed symptoms

That's not a loaded question, I legitimately want to know.
