It sure didn't hurt that Nirra Fields--the Gatorade Calif. POY--transferred in from Oak Hill Academy in Virginia. With her and Jordan Adams, they again have two of the best players in the country.

I love watching Jordan Adams play. I am glad she is staying close to home ..... I look forward to seeing her and the USC improving and making the Pac-12 more competitive. I hope Geno schedules a some games with USC during the next 4 years . Should be a fun games for KML, Bria, Stef, Breanna, Jordan and Alexy (USC) since they all played on the USA teams. Note Alexy played on the team two years ago.

Karina Alofiatuli (sp?), another MD product from last year's NC team, also plays for USC.

Close--reverse the "a" and "i": Alofaituli. She also goes by Kiki. Did she redshirt this tear?

They had some tough names last year. Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis is relatively easy to spell. Easier than Alexyz Vaioletama.

Have you thought about adding "yz" to the spelling of your name? :)

from your lips to the AD's ears. LA is about 2+ hours away for me, but i'd totally drive up for games. heck, i even went up to see the Pepperdine game. i'm still hopeful they will make SDSU a full BE member and get to see both the men and women WCBB teams every other year as well as the football team.

I hear ya. I love watching Jordan play as well. There are a few other players on the Mater roster are fun to watch as well; Alexas, Nicole Guzman, Maggie..I forget her last name. I guess I could Maxprep it but too lazy. But Mater Dei is stacked and well coached.

That would be cool too. I would make the drive down to SanD to see some of those games. I have not been to Pepperdine yet.....it is on my list of CA places to see....I hear it is really beautiful.

Watching Jordan play, reminds me of Sue Bird. Jordan is not as much of a leader as Sue was, but she is still wonderful to watch play. I hope she blossoms at USC and has a great experience with the team. I am looking forward to USC having a good next year.

Mater Dei is a private school that is able to recruit the players they want. BTW that's not uncommon amongst the elite Women Basketball HS Teams. The same thing happens in football and boys basketball.
