Wow, terrible news, prayers to Martin and all involved, hope he's okay.

Prayers sent to Martin for a full recovery

The ICU, holy crap that must of been a heck of a wreck. Prayers for Martin.

Yes, it was quite a wreck. So bad that the driver of the other car died.

Thoughts and prayers to our Husky brother and his family.

Every parents fear, an injured child.
Condolences to the family of the man
who passed.
Hoping Martin and his friend make a full
recovery.

One of my friends good friends was the driver. Terrible decision. The driver broke almost every bone in his body including his sternum. As of last night they weren't sure he was going to make it.

I'm very sorry to hear that. My thoughts and prayers to both Hippo and your friend.

Prayers to Martin... I pray he makes a full speedy recovery....

So sad to hear this news. I hope that Martin will have a safe and strong recovery and at least have the ability to walk on the field with his head held high on senior day. This is a much bigger battle than any he has faced on the field. At this time, my thoughts and prayers go to him and his family and I hope that this is only a small setback in a long, healthy, and successful life ahead of him.

Sorry to hear this. All the best to Hippo & his friend on a speedy recovery.

According to Kevin Nathan on ch 30 Martin will be released from the hospital in a few days. Doubtful he'll play this year.

Not sure if anyone else missed this...

>>"The doctors [at UConn] have gotten all the X-rays and our doctors here and trainers here have spoken with the people in New Hampshire at the hospital," Pasqualoni said. "You know, it's just going to be a matter of how fast he heals. At this point, I'm not clear on what the timeline on that is, but the information I've gotten is, once it heals, it heals."

Pasqualoni said he hadn't heard anything about Hyppolite's football future being in doubt.

"No, I haven't heard anything [saying] that this is a career-ending thing," Pasqualoni said. "I had not heard that, but I think it's somewhat unpredictable to say he's going to be OK in X amount of weeks or months."<<
