Actually, the game was very physical and the refs did not call much of anything even when Morrow pulled Van Klunen down. Marquette was also unconscious from the floor at 66% and many of those where not “easy layups”. I am not saying those teams exihibited any “Niki like” Qualities bit it was not “ole’ type” defense either.I watched the game. It reminded me of a Saturday morning rec league game where nobody plays any defense on either team.
Revenge of the Sith.Sorry but what is ROTS?
Still no idea what you mean. I watched the original 3 Star Wars movies but none of the "newer" episodes so I don't understand the correlation to (women's) basketball. But it's ok. I don't need a recap.Revenge of the Sith.
Morrow didn't have a double double, only 6 rebounds to go with her 29 points.I didn't see the game, but: Marquette outrebounded DePaul 49-17?? Whassup with that?
Yeah that was the first thing Coach Bruno mention was the rebound disparity, 49-17. Coach Duffy had a pretty good game plan with trying to limit Morrow on the boards today and Marquette was committed to that game plan.I didn't see the game, but: Marquette outrebounded DePaul 49-17?? Whassup with that?
It's a joke son, it's a joke!Still no idea what you mean. I watched the original 3 Star Wars movies but none of the "newer" episodes so I don't understand the correlation to (women's) basketball. But it's ok. I don't need a recap.
Rots is a form of Music played in the 16th century in Eastern Europe. It had certain influence on the Blues music in early NOrleans and it traveled up the Mississippi to Chicago.Sorry but what is ROTS?

So over 100 points and only four threes?! Didn’t know that was even possible.Taking a look at the minutes of the Marquette starters showed that they carried the load. I wonder if there will be some carry-over fatigue in today's game? In consecutive days can they run with us with our depth? If I am Geno I call out all of the hounds right out of the gates.

Didn’t need threes because DePaul only played one 6 foot+ player. Marquette will not have a size advantage against UCONN.So over 100 points and only four threes?! Didn’t know that was even possible.
If you’re playing DePaul who basically played an “Ole” defense yesterday, the game ends up being a layup drill for Marquette. So over 100 points and only four threes?! Didn’t know that was even possible.
Against DePaul: 44/67 inside the arc,If you’re playing DePaul who basically played an “Ole” defense yesterday, the game ends up being a layup drill for Marquette.
Bills Fan, Geno will push the pace until the Marquette starters say "Uncle." made me laugh giddily.Looking at the minutes of the Marquette starting 5, makes me pretty sure that Geno will push the pace until the Marquette starters say "Uncle." Look for a terrible 4th Qtr for them, altholugh they might be so far behind at that point that HC Duffy is already using her bench. To me, this use of minutes for the starters smacks of Marq. putting all their eggs in one basket (a big W against DePaul) hoping the Selection Committee notices and gives them an at-large bid.
Very intriguing take. Hmmm...To me, this use of minutes for the starters smacks of Marq. putting all their eggs in one basket (a big W against DePaul) hoping the Selection Committee notices and gives them an at-large bid.
Me think's, watching that basketball track meet, that Marquette will be dragging ,in the end, in today's game with UConn. I concur, yesterday's play, was a 'Ploy' to impress the 'Selection Committee'.Bills Fan, Geno will push the pace until the Marquette starters say "Uncle." made me laugh giddily.![]()
