I'll be driving in from a familial visit in Chicago and have a seat in 225.

Aside: their AD emailed and said our section is to wear "champs blue." I looked it up and it's baby blue. They conveniently provide a link to buy a baby blue marquette shirt for $12. Good luck with the stripe out, seems more like a ploy to sell off colored t shirts.

I'll be there! ;)

It's "National Marquette Day" which is basically like homecoming when you don't have football. I'd be interested to hear what the experience is like from a visiting fan's perspective as the crowd should be a bit more um... lubricated... than normal, not to mention hyped for the game.

It's one of the best setups I've seen for basketball. You hit those bars Copper on King, Brat House walk out the back door and you're at the arena.

I have not been to a game there but travel to Milwaukee for work pretty regularly. Usually stay at the Double Tree downtown, not far from Fiserv Arena, and have plenty of places that I can stumble to without a care. Seems like it would be a fun place to pre game.

You must have been there fairly recently since the street name change from "Old World 3rd!"

@mlpavela, I should have mentioned... I am not sure if there are UConn meetups happening, but just in a general sense if you go early enough you can hit up any place on what is now called MLK Jr. Dr and walk over to the Fiserv. As Superjohn points out, it's very convenient. My personal go-to is usually Uncle Bucks. It'll be filled with MUBB fans, but they are usually very welcoming of opposing fans and love to chat all things ball/Big East. Opposing fans usually probably find the MECCA sports bar an easy place to pre-game, plus they have a giant tv the size of my first house.

If you want to avoid crowds somewhat, look a few blocks to the west in an area/neighborhood called "The Brewery" which is the old Pabst Brewery. You'll find some places such as Best Place Pub, On Tap, or Pilot Project Brewing. Otherwise Water street across the river has numerous places as well, which also should be less crowded but by the time the game lets out it'll be more college kids and young 20 somethings out for their regular Saturday night binge drinking. Not a bad walk from either area, but less jammed than MLK Jr. Dr.

Was last there in the fall. I always go a couple times a year and stay a couple nights each time. Copper on King seems like it would be great for games, the old Buck Bradley's...longest bar east of the Mississippi. Tons of room and TV's everywhere. That was one of the bars I was at last time I visited.

I stayed in an Airbnb above Wurst bar on Brady street last stay.

Waiting for the secondary market prices to fall a little bit more and I'll probably be making the drive over from Madison

So for those of you in Milwaukee and going to the game where is the pregame meetup spot? Uncle Buck’s? Would be good to be with other UConn fans.

As of 540 there is no getting in to Uncle Bucks without a very long line. At third Ave tavern across the street. UConn scarf!

I will be out there as part of a three game trip for my Operation 351 journey. Northwestern and Marquette on Saturday. UW at Milwaukee on Sunday.

I picked up a ticket last month for Marquette in the upper section for $146.

It's too bad you drew a Milwaukee game at their off campus arena. Their on campus joint is much more intimate, but Panther Arena has some history as being the original Bucks arena too.

Great road atmosphere. Yes Solo had them filing out early but it was good before that. Two very loud F* D* H* chants mostly from the students.

Not many Huskies but we were there. Not all the Huskies there were great ambassadors. But that's any fan base.
