The line has been going up. This could be a tough one for us. Doomed!
 
The line is currently at -6 for Marquette. I don't see exactly why because they aren't ranked any higher at all. It would be nice to start the season off with a win.
 
In recent years UConn hasn't fared well in their first Big East game that has been on the road. The Huskies haven't played a true road game yet this season. That probably has a lot to do with the line.
 
I just don't know. We have the potential to play with almost anyone but we are vulnerable. I'm looking forward to this game to see how we do against BE talent.

"+C7 bounce" leads me to believe you may play competitive poker and are relating the 30 million integers concept while accessing poker hand ranking? With six card hands instead of vectors to the seven (7) card hand the array holds the Hand Ranking of the seven (7) card hand. In all honesty not sure about you fleud but I have always been more concerned about the more arbitrary hand evaluation performance rather than sequential hand evaluation performance.

Zags barely got by Oklahoma State on the road on New Years eve. Dower & Edi off years so far. Kelly Olynyk maybe the best big in the country that no one has heard of. Such is life in Zagland.

Looking forward to tonight's game. Huskies have the best player on the court (or the 1 with the most potential to be game changing) in Bazz. Let's see if he brings it for 40 minutes. Like our chances IF he does. His intangibles also have immense value. Court presence and glue from our leader will determine how successful this team will be on a relative basis. Go huskies!!!! Congrats to KO.

Wishing you and family the best of health this New Year. I'm hanging on a couple futures bets this year that I copped from Vegas. With UConn not eligible it adds another rooting interest. I will be glued to the TV with my dad rooting hard for UConn. My last call was off here so I respectfully defer to you on this call! :)

Love your knowledge. My gambling is limited to flipping a coin to decide if I should cut the lawn today or tomorrow. My luck has been fantastic. The coin keeps telling me to cut it tomorrow!

My reference to C7 is about the bb only Catholic schools who have decided to leave the BE and form a new conference under the name BE.
 
Davante Gardner and Otule have the size and bulk that can hurt us inside. There guards also have a big height and weight advantage. Can't afford a New Year's Day hangover.

We are doomed, DOOMED for sure!
 
Pitt was -6 against Cincy yesterday, never read too much into lines. Marquette certainly hasn't looked great thus far and this has more to do with us not playing a true road game thus far if anything. From what I've seen so far this is certainly a winnable game for us.

I understand the C7 reference now. Silly me since we are on a hoops board not talking poker strategy! The smell of fresh cut grass is 1 of life's simple pleasures in my opinion. I always enjoy reading your intelligent and thought provoking posts with a twist of spontaneous wit.

How are you doing with the grieving relating to the loss of your dog? I lost mine on March 13, 2012. It is still very hard and I know you were also grieving not to long ago from your loss.

that's what I meant... should have said "washington game was -6.5 for uconn." hangover posting at its finest.
