Nice win for GB and should lead to Marquette dropping out of the top 25 and GB moving in. GB's win also takes the luster off of Tennessee's best win so far.

The luster was already off the Tennessee win because Marquette had already lost to New Mexico. Tennessee fans are thrilled because they beat a "ranked" team, never mind the fact that Marquette has done nothing this year to indicate that they should be ranked. Their preseason ranking was only based on reputation from last year and the fact that they got most of their starters back. Marquette's only wins so far are over Loyola-MD, Montana, and Loyola-Chicago.

Oh Puhleeze. That was a game that Tenn for sure would have lost last season. They are light years improved this season... :rolleyes:
 
I never did understand the Marquette hype to begin the season. There are a few other suspect teams in the Top 25 as well.

They beat DePaul last year for the Big East title and retained most of the team, including the pre-season Big East POY.
