How did we get to this spot?

We should have worked like crazy to keep Robbie Frey. And we should have four stellar RB candidates. We have regressed here for sure.

It's shocking that he's the best we have at running back, has to be the weakest rb strength wise I've seen at the D1 level, any contact and he goes straight back.

Totally agree. Towson's RBs move the pile. McCombs goes down with a hand.

I admire McCombs. He is a tough between the tackles runner who is only 170 lbs. The problem is that he is not that fast so he can't break any long runs and he is not strong enough to break tackles. Thus, he can't take advantage of small holes. In my opinion, he makes the OLine look worse than they are.
