OT: Mark Lanegan dies

Happened yesterday. Know there are some fans here. I didn’t see the news until today.

Such an amazing talent and a true artist - gone too soon. Wish I could have had the chance to see him in person. His music lives on

Hearing he was going to be heavily featured on Songs For The Deaf got me into QOTSA, which then got me into Mark’s vast body of work beyond Screaming Trees. I’m glad there are some other fans on here. He was an amazing talent.

Apparently, he had major addiction issues and had just moved to Ireland in 2020 to make a lifestyle change. He had also battled a rough bout of Covid.
