I knew he'd been successful as a head coach. Looked a little closer. Only his 5th season. Took 1 year to turn around Sacramento St., then led them to their best season ever. Then took 1 year to turn around TCU, same thing best season ever. And year 3 at TCU is pretty likely their second best season ever. Very likely to post 30 win seasons back to back, had never been done at TCU prior to his arrival. Had never won the Big 12 regular season before, now have done it back to back. A few previous conference titles under Jeff Mittie--they have done A LOT of conference hopping, so he accomplished it in the WAC, CUSA and Mountain West. I think the guy can coach.
