[sigh]Love the title.
She can be disorienting in more ways than one.I'm getting dizzy from the camera work
Huskies Rule said:I just now read the funniest message on the Lady Vol board. Pessimistic UT fans think their chances tomorrow vs. Notre Dame are pretty slim.
To wit, this post:
"The only way Tenn could make ND nervous is if they put on UCONN uniforms and holly wears a GENO mask." Hahahaha.
I watched the vid sitting down, stood up at the conclusion and walked into a wall.I'm getting dizzy from the camera work
If this is a selfie, is she walking around in circles?
Sign of nerves?
Just curious - I thought people were linking the Margo videos because there's sort of a Margo Fan Club, you know, those bemused about a fan with tonyc-like optimism. However, comments in this thread make me wonder. If folks are linking Margo just to mock her, then I think we need to reconsider posting the videos.
Great analogy...how can you not admire Margo's passion for her team. Great, great, LV fan. She obviously understands the game and has her opinions. Easy to mock by opposing fans but Nan is right. Better to take the high road.a fan with tonyc-like optimism. .
Most coaches lament how little current recruits do know about playing basketball - In Pat's prime, AAU was an after thought and kids practiced and played with their HS teams a lot, and the AAU teams were more local, spent more time together with shorter and less frequent travel so they actually got practice time together, not just game time. There were more basketball camps that filled time now devoted to the AAU machine and fewer individual trainers who may improve individual skills but cannot work team skills. - So the teaching and training aspect of college coaches is paramount - if you cannot develop the skilled players into skilled team players during practice at the college level your team will have 'chemistry' issues on the court regardless of the type of players you have on the team. And if you can't teach and train and you have signed selfish players it can be a disaster. Also, her quote "these girls know how to play basketball, they were McD AAs", makes me wonder again about the rankings, and even more so, do the AAs really know how to play basketball, or are their skills enhanced by being the best on their HS team, when in reality, deficiencies are hidden? That might be the most impressive part of recruiting by Geno & staff. They look for the things that will help the program, look for BB IQ, and for those that understand how to play within a team concept.
