March other NCAA games

Probably just a sprain, but could still keep him out multiple weeks, especially as an impending #1 pick
If it's something that's going to keep him out 3-4 weeks, gotta wonder if the committee gives Duke the Kenyon Martin treatment.

Really sucks for Flagg. I was never quite as high on Duke as a lot of other people, but he was having a really special year.

Sort of reminds me of when Kyrie got hurt in the middle of his college season. That was a lot earlier in the year though

I'm sure Duke will keep the timetable a mystery and they would still have plenty of talent to get through the first two rounds if Flagg can make it back after that. With Kenyon we knew he was done for the year.

turn on ESPN2 and check out this Curtis Jones first half performance for Iowa State

interesting idea but with the new portal era and things changing so much year to year idk.

This is why it made no sense to consolidate in the first place. The conferences don't work at these team numbers.

Blame football. These conferences weren’t coming together for basketball.

Everything is about the CFP these days and they aren’t as computer focused for this kind of thing to matter.

the ankle doesn't look too swollen. I have had some that puffed out immediately and kept me down for weeks.

dumb for football too tbh, you got teams in these mega conferences playing unbalanced schedules, that's how Indiana made the playoff

Just shows how 1 injury can impact a team. They seem to be holding up well at the moment.

Interesting look for Powell on Georgia Tech. Bro, you're bald. Stop pretending it's a Dallas thing.

Yikes apparently he's in a wheelchair?!

Oh that sucks. I hate to see that. He is certainly done for the ACCT. Best case scenario for Duke, keep him out of the ACCT and the first round game against the #16 seed.

Some of us are lying if we don’t say that Cooper Flagg being out for a couple weeks (ultimately a nothingburger in his career) and denying Duke fans the pleasure of a potential NC isn’t a positive

Probably a couple questions here: 1) when will he medically be cleared to return and 2) if he’s not 100% is he going to risk further injury by returning?

About the worst case scenario for Duke today with these two injuries.

Flagg not in a boot on the bench is interesting. I guess it isn't a Liamesque high ankle sprain

Flagg's ankle roll looked worse than Liam's against DePaul, but there is always that mystery between high and low ankle sprains, and how much of Liam's recovery time was just being cautious during the regular season.

Did ISU want to win that game? Sat best two guards, looked almost happy losing with lots of giggling on bench and smiles after loss. BYU winning not great for us.

BYU big and best player only juniors - with AJ coming in, could be preseason top 10 next year.

Looks like Colorado's mini Cinderella run is getting stomped out by Houston.

Wait a second, maybe I spoke too soon...
Sharp & Cryer and killers from 3. If they do go deep it will be those guys staying hot. I think both shoot well over 40% from 3 this year. Their threes first half accounting for almost half their points.

so UNC is going to get Duke likely w/o Flagg and Brown to try to strengthen their case for a tourney bid

.-.
