And Ohio st comes all the way back. Happens every year at least a few times with the 8/9, 7/10 games especially. One team jumps out early, 12-15 pt lead, only to fully give it up, but in the type of way that can only happen in March. 31-11 so far in the 2nd, wow!

Nope - already seeing that as much as we want the cinderellas, they aren't playing out. I expect a lot of that. We're all hardwired to the upset desire and first round chaos as part of the charm of the tourney. Not going to happen as much as we hope or think. Expecting this tourney to look like last year, 10% more upsets given it's not quite as top heavy.

Not one of the 16 seeds, but one of the two 11 seeds certainly could. I wasn't impressed with Texas though and Miami (OH) is a wild card.

Never have I said there would be a lot of upsets - I can send you my bracket. Simply said it looks more open than last year. Did take SF, which isn't looking great so far.

I doubt it. Of all the 8/9 teams, Nova has the best shot of those 8 teams IMO, and even there it is slim. The four 1 seeds are too good this year.
