March Madness Round 1 Thread

There's plenty of game left, but it's good to see Miami playing up to the level of competition so far. I wonder if Pearl still thinks they're worse than Depaul

It’s honestly pretty hilarious watching Travis Steele put this team in a blender.

SMU started running them off every shot in the 2H and now they’re leaving lanes and fouling. It’s pure chaos.

Isn't that what UConn would do to a team like that? UConn is pretty good at limiting an opponent's threes. Not scared of a team like that.

These days I’m not sure what we’re good at besides winning OOC games on neutral floors in March. But hey I’ll take it.
 
Bang. This team is fun. I watched them win a very close game a few weeks ago. Playing better tonight.

Edit: anyone who thinks they just play fast and launch 3s never saw Loyola Marymount in their prime. Imagine a college team that scored like 120 points a a game. We’ve never seen anything like it since.

I hope all of our games are called like Miami Oh vs SMU game. No St John style defense allowed here.

Miami OH has a bunch of Mullins type shooters jacking up 3s. Fun to watch if you like see players jacking up 3s.

I don’t mind them jacking up threes since they’re still at 40%. Their FT percentage is only 58% at 6:41

This is great. Love it. Fantastic to see them punish the doubters. But it’s also just fun to waste this style. Free flowing.
 
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a team get as many wide open looks from 3 as Miami this game. SMU has looked totally lost defensively.
