We shall see if the guard thing truly is the way. Game is changing. Teams are stacking dominant FCs and taking away the paint.

When you can stack talent in a way where you can dominate, the paint is where it happens.

It's not just dominant FCs, the three best teams are big positionally (Cadeau aside) everywhere. If you consider UF the fourth best team, they also fit that mode. Very similar to the model for the 2024 team, but Zona is probably the only one of the top four that I consider having a truly top guard.

I was curious how many of the bracket projections on Bracket Matrix have Auburn in the field. 13 of the 109 brackets they follow have Auburn in. 12 of those have Auburn as an 11 seed and 1 has them as a 10 seed. Is the bubble that bad this year?

The bubble is pretty bad every year, it's going to stay this way with NIL/Portal per your last article shared. Why there is no point in expanding the tourney. Expand for what? Cinderellas are dead. The bottom of these power conferences have really bad teams. That won’t change. If you don’t have NIL, you won’t compete. There’s no sneaking in or developing a great roster anymore. If you can’t pay, kid is gone by the time you can find enough good players to surround him with.
