For once we would be the ones with a home court advantage in the NCAA tournament. After all the times we had to play road games in the regionals and the BS we faced this year, this would be a good change.

Well, I guess we just have to go out and claim the #1 overall seed. No big.

I could certainly envision a scenario where a one seeded UConn gets shipped out West and a three or four seeded Syracuse gets to play the regionals in MSG, just because I'm used to getting screwed over.

In all seriousness though, this would be a great motivational tool for KO to use next season. Given many of the current players are probably upset they won't be able to play in the BE Tournament, this, along with the pre-season tournament, would give them an opportunity to showcase their talents under America's brightest lights. The only legitimate opponents in our conference next season figure to be Cincy, Temple, Louisville, and Memphis, so it's not as if we have to survive a gauntlet of a conference in order to make this happen. It is an attainable goal, and I'd certainly do everything within my power to be in attendence if this became a reality.
