Manny Ramirez to play for NB Bees?

I've heard through the grapevine from somebody close to the team a week ago that he's going to play a stint in New Britain. I know it sounds absurd and I thought so to, but he insists it's true. Then on twitter just now the Yard Goats posted a picture of him in Hartford..

I’m sure you know by now it’s his son and that Manny has been present at a lot of the games. Someone who saw him said “he shrunk a lot”.
