I couldn't help but notice that Louisville played a ton of zone, and Memphis played a ton of man.
I'm sure there's more involved in how well we played against these two teams than that fact, but that seems to be a major factor. When we played Louisville, we spent a lot of time passing around the perimeter before jacking up a contested 3. When we played Memphis, we were able to draw nearby defenders to help on penetration and kick it to wide open shooters.
I know we missed open 3's against Louisville too, but it's so much more pleasant watching this team against a man to man defense.
